Verde Creek Crossing

 

Here, riders take a moment to give their horses a break. Just down from here, is the swimming hole. The Verde Creek is spring fed, which keeps it at 68 degrees year round. At this temperature, a dip on a hot summer day will revive you rapidly, or make you wish you hadn't jumped in.
